What is the format
for a Dating Event/singles event?
At BangkokMatching’s Singles Mingle guests are
guaranteed a fun night out. Taking place at exclusive
bars and clubs, these evenings are filled with
activities to set the right mood and get everyone
mingling!
Aimed at professionals, these events are
the perfect way to meet plenty of like-minded
single people in a relaxed party atmosphere. We
ensure our Icebreakers are always on hand to relax
and mingle with daters, whilst also playing cupid
to ensure everyone has a good time.
Before the Singles Mingle
Once your booking has been made via our website
or email to
party@BangkokMatching.com,
you will receive an email booking confirmation
detailing the location & description of the
venue, together with an explanation of how the
evening runs. If you have any questions or are
a bit nervous on the evening, don't worry - remember
everyone’s in the same position!
During the Singles Mingle
Guests are greeted on arrival by our Hosts and
are registered from the guest list on the door.
Daters are then escorted to the bar where they
are welcomed by our hosts.
All of the activities at a singles party are there
to help daters mingle and be introduced to one
another and are fully optional, so you
can chose which activities suit you! If you don’t
fancy taking part in the activities, you can always
just sit back at the bar, mingle with other guests.
You will be given a scorecard sheet.
Tick guests on your Scorecard who you "click"
with and if you both agree that there’s a spark,
you’ll be able to contact each other again after
receiving match result from BangkokMatching.
After the Singles Mingle
Remember to return your Scorecard to our staff,
we will do the match result seeing who you have
matched with.
If someone you have "ticked" has also
ticked you, then you both have a "match"!
We will then send you both email of each other’s
contact information. You can then get back
in contact with your matches, if you wish to arrange
meeting up again.

How long does BangkokMatching’s Dating Event last?
The organised element of a Dating Event event
lasts for around 3 hours, including the breaks,
depending on the number of guests attending. Most
of our guests stay behind after the event for
a few drinks and since the ice is broken already,
find that this is a great opportunity to get to
know each other a little better.

Our Dating Event usually starts around 7:00 or
7:30pm and go on until 9:30 or 10:00pm. Please
check exact times for the advertised event you
are interested in.

Can I go to more
than one Dating Event or singles event?
Definitely –you can go to as many events as you
like.

Event or singles event session alone, but after
realising how fun the BangkokMatching events are,
they often return with their friends.

to Dating Event, the more events you attend, the
higher your chances are of meeting that special

What do I say and
how do I say it?
Relax and be yourself – everyone is in the same
boat at a Dating Event evening. 90% of people
form an opinion within 10-40 seconds of meeting
somebody else, so first impressions really count.
We make 23-27 subconscious decisions on somebody
when we meet them. This initial judgment can be
broken down in the following way:
55% Visual Impact (what you see)
7% Content (what you say)
38% Auditory Impact (what you hear)
Auditory impact is not necessarily accent it is
more to do with volume, speed, pitch, clarity
and use of expression (or conversely monotony).
The honest answer based on the findings of this
research appear to be that it doesn't really matter!

I pay at the door?
Unfortunately not
as we need to ensure that our ratio of males/females
is equal and therefore can’t risk someone not
turning up on the night to unbalance this.

How will I know if I have any matches?
After 1-3 days of the Dating Event or singles
event, BangkokMatching will send you the match
result via email.

What information is given to my matches?
The contact information given to matches is the
first name, email address and phone number of
the people they have matched with.
Under no circumstances do we provide any other
contact details/information.

What
is your cancellation policy?
We are not able to accept cancellations, as the
quality and success of our events would be compromised
by an uneven ratio of males/females. However,
if you are able to provide us with at least 72
hours notice via email, we will do our best to
move you to another BangkokMatching event. If
we are able to move you to another event, you
will be charged an additional Baht 100 Administration
fee.

What is your cancellation
policy?
If there are no events listed for you at the time,
please feel free to contact us via email and we
can put you on a waiting list for when a new event
is released in your area, so you will be the first
to know!

How
should I dress?
The most important thing is to wear what you feel
comfortable in. A lot of our guests come straight
from work, so suits etc. are fine. However, remember
that you are trying to make a good impression
at Dating Event and singles events, first impressions
count!

Most of our guests are professionals looking for
a fun time and to meet new people. They are normal,
interesting and attractive people who just don’t
have time to meet other like-minded singles, through

event?
We send an email confirmation with directions
before the event you have booked to attend.

do I collect my ticket?
We do not issue tickets. Once you booking have
been successful, you will automatically be sent
a booking confirmation via email or SMS. This
acts as your proof of purchase. Your name will
then be put onto the Guest List for the event,
so when you arrive, your name will already be
on the door.
