On of the things about a lot of single Thai ladies of 40+ who I had met is that they start planning for the rest/end of their lives. As if the best bit is behind them or there is not much happiness ahead.

In the west this is considered one of the best time in life – they are mature, confident, more income, know what u want etc.

It’s at my age that we have to start being realistic!
